Typography from Paper to Screen—An Inspiring Animation

Set to a soundtrack by Debussy, this delightful animation was created as a graduate project by French designer Thibault de Fournas. The brief #animation titled “From Paper to Screen” illustrates the various, characteristics, personalities and forms type can take. It’s also snapshot of how typography has evolved time.

It may sound a bit preachy but type is so easily taken for granted now days. It’s not only core to how we communicate, type caries it’s own aesthetic and is a monolithic art form in and of itself.
