From the Beatles to the Star Wars Score Take an Immersive Tour of Abbey Road Studios

Google recently launched Inside Abbey Road, a beautifully designed website that walks the user through the studio’s rich history via 3 dimensional space (Google Earth Style). While navigating through each space you are presented with a narrated tour along with an array of related, music, videos, photographs and general information.

You can also be guided around by producer Giles Martin, Head of Audio Products Mirek Stiles, or broadcaster Lauren Laverne, and even play with interactive versions of pioneering Abbey Road Studios equipment.

Built on some of todays most advanced graphics, sound and web technology, I was easily sucked into this site. Its user experience is thoughtfully designed and there’s a ton of interesting content. If you have not been, give it a spin!!
