The Monolithic Images of Photographer Ray Collins

I came across artist, surfer, coal miner and photographer Ray Collins via Subtraction.com. His photographs are moody, breathtaking and monolithic. The astounding thing is, Collins bought his first camera just eight years ago. He manages to capture ocean waves in all of their glory at the decisive moment.
