In 1998 he co-founded Pathway Medical Technologies and served as CEO until 2008. Tom was also previously a founding employee at Heart Technology, which grew to more than $100 million in annual revenue and 550 employees before becoming acquired by Boston Scientific. Tom joined Cardiac Insight in 2011 after leading the Center for Commercialization\u2019s New Venture unit.<\/p>\n<p>Bellevue based Cardiac Insight has licensed research from the University of Washington lab of cardiologist David Linker and is working to develop a low-cost device to better detect the risk signs of stroke.
