The money will fund the translation of researchers&#8217; discoveries into useful medical products, and in the process return some of the public&#8217;s investment to the research institutions and to the region.<\/p>\n<p>[<strong>Pictured to the right<\/strong>: Michael Hite is CEO of a company with a device to carry medication to the brain despite the blood-brain barrier.
